Water over the dam, long time a'coming. March!

A month gone and gone some more. Days slip by in lengthening light, and so diversions such as writing slide with a rabbit-soft 'thump' under Conscious's couch.

Or something. Time has passed. Once again, we are unfamiliar with a schedule. And so it goes.

Make of this what you will, friends. I hope the approach of Spring brings forth from your able minds the story of this particular bit of your lifetime. If not, then limericks are always fun.

I'd like to report that I'm done
and this challenge has been the most fun.
But that's not the case,
I won't write in haste.
I'll wait 'til the voices are one.

I did it again and wrote two.
I guess it's just something I do.
I must get a life,
I've now lost my wife
But I did find my missing shoe.

Am I too late to join in? I hope not, but it will likely be tomorrow night before I could do it. Love the picture!

My virgin submission be here. I feel so wonderfully soiled.

Buzzardbilly, why do I wonder about the "soiling"? ;~0 Welcome

What the hell, I'll toss a limerick in, too:

I ran fast as I could past the goat,
And almost fell into the boat,
It rocked and it rolled,
So I heaved and I pulled,
And rammed us straight into its throat!

The setting and surrounding story, I'll leave to you imagination!!!

Damn it, a typo -

I ran fast as I could past the goat,
And almost fell into the boat,
It rocked and it rolled,
As I heaved and I pulled,
And rammed us straight into its throat!

Silly how a key word can change the meaning! (so/As in line 4)

I had a draft, only a beginning really, but following Tiff's examble, I muscled Morn through.
